IMPORTANT: This is your last in-class day to work on your persuasive essay, but it is not due until Wednesday (May 7th).  Today, you will be organizing your final draft and working your way through the revisions on the editing checklist attached. Please read through it carefully and be sure to complete every step!  Your job is to . . .  Copy and paste your intro paragraph, two body paragraphs, and conclusion paragraph into the assignment titled, “Final Persuasive Essay” (This is easiest if you split screen with classroom).  Work your way through the editing checklist. You will need headphones! Please keep all bolding, underlining, italicizing, etc. on your final draft! It helps me to see that you have completed the entire checklist. Note: On the editing checklist, step 5 tells you to highlight all of the homophones in purple. I realize this is a big ask. Please type "command F", search for a homophone (ex. to, too, two | there, their, they're), and highlight a few of each in purple. I want you to CHECK all of the homophones that "command F" highlights, but you do not need to highlight all of them purple.
