Finish reading and highlighting the short story we started in class ("The Necklace"). These are the things you are looking for as you highlight:
Choice--> What choices are the characters faced with? What influences the decisions they make?
Appearance--> How do the characters view their appearance to others? What moments show how they value their appearance?
Materialism--> Materialism is when people value money and owning things above all else. Where does this show up in the story?
