Here is the ELA Lesson for Today:

1. On your desk: iPad, pencil, headphones

2. Some students may need a few minutes to finish giving an assigned partner feedback on their Microfiction. Please allow for students to get with their assigned partners from yesterday and complete the peer feedback process that they started yesterday in class.

3. Students are going to start some Poetry work today. We will continue working on the Microfiction on Monday of next week and your Microfiction final draft will be due on Tuesday, December 5th.

4. Students will independently work on the Google Slides presentation titled Introducing Poetry: What a Poem is Not.

5. This slideshow requires students to watch a video and then create their own creative, acrostic poem.

6. Students should independently complete Slide 4 and then submit their slideshow work on Google Classroom.

7. If students have time, they can start working on their Poetry Stations work in Google Docs. This assignment is posted on Google Classroom for the students.

Homework: Make sure your What a Poem is Not Google Slideshow is completed and submitted by tomorrow, Friday.

Announcement: The final draft of the Microfiction will be due on Tuesday, December 5th.
