We had ok classes this week. Some kids are really putting in the work, others are not. I was going to start them on a new song this week, but they were not ready. Please help the kids to practice.  We will finish our solos next week. Everyone else will play their solos this week.  After hearing solos, we talked about what were some of the things to work on. Here are a few things 1) make sure the left hand fingers are pushing the string all the way down. Practice your songs while plucking so you get the ringing sound.  2) Keep the bow between the bridge and the fingerboard. The best sound is in the middle.  3) Make the bow a bit heavy, and use some more bow to you can be heard, and you can hear yourself.  Practice this week Twinkle Duet Twinkle Twinkle Little Star French Folk Song Are You Sleeping Make all songs comfortable and with a good sound.  That is it for now.
