We worked on tempo today.  In General... 2nd violin work on learning the notes. We need to have you playing louder! 1) Fire up to M 29 - Work with the metronome. Start slow and speed up. Post here in the comment section your top speed for the day when you practice. Add another comment when you practice again!!  We will see who gets the top speed!!!   - Work on the dynamics. Notice the accent as well as the surprise changes. no crescendo until Measure 20!!  All other ones are sudden changes.  2) Penny - 2nd violin, keep working on the beginning. Play it lower in the bow. Also work on m 14. Try in 2nd position. Start on the D with your 3rd finger. 1st finger goes where second finger normally goes.                    - Memorize the part starting at  M49. You can also work to memorize the whole song!!   3) Thailand - Keep working on the dynamics from M32 to 50   - work on  M77 to 96.  the pizzicato sections! This would be another "start slow and speed up" spot!!
