Gargoyles -       work on bouncing the bow.  the speed is 160 = quarter note.  First bounce the bow up and down at that speed and then back and forth a little. Let the bow do the work. Then try a D Major Scale      Violin 1  M19   With the metronome on the string.  Don't use the "up up bow" bowing.  Gauntlet -  160 = quarter note   Work on the melody part.  Start slow and then speed it up to faster then you need to play it.  Alleluias - Let's get it up to the 144 = quarter tempo. The slower parts where where we tended to slow down.
