Additional Info
salvete,
I am so sorry that due to the timetable changes we now have this one more cover lesson. I can't wait to be back with you all in our next lesson!
I've looked through your work from last week and can see that some people have not done a huge amount during the last cover lesson. Therefore I have copied the instructions from last lesson and added further tasks for those of you who raced through things - well done to you!
PLEASE ENSURE that you have COMPLETED and CHECKED your SUPERLATIVES sheets before the end of this lesson.
In today's lesson, please complete the following:
1. Distribute the orange de Romanis textbooks for reference.
2. Continue with the worksheet on superlative adjectives. Chapter 8 - Language Exercises - Exercise 8.5. Finish the first page (NOT including the extension), then move onto the second page and complete these sentences (NOT including the extension). Once complete CHECK your answers using the ANSWERS page in the Chapter 8 - Language Exercises section of Content Library.
3. Then complete the questions on the Cicero and Catline story (exercise 8.6). The story is on page 59 of the textbook, and the worksheet to complete is in Chapter 8 - Stories - Exercise 8.6. Once complete CHECK your answers using the ANSWERS page in the Chapter 8 - Stories section of Content Library.
4. If you finish the story, return to the superlative adjectives sheets and complete the extension sentences. Once complete CHECK your answers using the ANSWERS page in the Chapter 8 - Language Exercises section of Content Library.
5. If you finish all of this, including checking your work, move on to learning your Culture and Context information - the content you need is in your REVISION section in OneNote. Spend some time highlighting the document to find the important parts to memorise, and use your own revision techniques to absorb and start to remember the information - this might be making flashcards, making notes, colour-coding the information, or making your own Quizlet, etc.
6. If you feel that you have absorbed the Culture and Context as far as possible, spend any remaining time continuing to learn the vocabulary for Chapters 1-8.
Good luck!
Best,
Mrs Greenoakes
