You should aim to complete all unfinished tasks in your sketchbook and final pieces over the summer holiday. We will not be dedicating any lesson time to artist research or the responses when you return in September and begin Year 11. This will purely be dedicated to working out a final design as we lead up to the art mock exam in November.
Make sure you are clear in how you are going to tackle your checklist in Showbie, make sure you have EVERYTHING printed out before you break up and you have also collated all materials to be self sufficient at home.
Our top tip is to always start with the most recent tasks in your book and final pieces, essentially working backwards. These tend to hold more marks than super early work so don’t be tempted to work chronologically from the beginning of year 10.
